What’s in a Name? Your Bottom Line.
Being an effective talent buyer is a unique skill. This is where the word relationships comes in. I’ve been actively involved in the entertainment booking business for decades. You can take advantage of this experience by hiring me to take this huge responsibility off your plate. From internationally renowned performing artists, authors and comedians, to speakers, moderators and emcees, I have relationships where they count. My clients are able to leverage my connections to create the star power for their event that guarantees a sell-out success story for their organization.
Buying talent can get tricky. Whether you are going it alone or hiring a professional, remember this:
REMEMBER your audience. This is what they came for.
FORGET your ego. Just because you can afford Beyoncé, doesn’t mean you should book her—see above.
READ the fine print. The contract riders can add up to more than triple the artist’s fee, but it is negotiable!

For 27 years, our annual Steppin’ Out for Dimock gala, has become one of Boston’s most anticipated events of the year. With over 80 artists taking to our six stages last year, Dayla Arabella once again delivered a line-up of entertainers that exceeded the expectations of our sponsors and engaged a whole new audience for us. As a media strategist and talent buyer, she was able to leverage the roster of talent into local and national media exposure for our event, which helped our fundraising drives as well. Can’t wait to see what she’ll cook up for this year!”
