Join Catholic Extension as they honor Loretta Brennan Glucksman. Loretta has been involved in philanthropic endeavors for more than three decades, focusing on education, the arts, health care and peace initiatives in both the United States and Ireland, a passion she shared with her late husband Lew Glucksman. Proceeds from this event will be directed to Catholic Extension’s Sisters Religious fund.
Now in its 16th year, this year’s Big in Boston is set to be the BIGGEST one yet. Join Big Sister Association of Greater Boston at The Grand on Thursday, October 27, 2022, to celebrate Deb Re’s era of leadership and look to the future of Big Sister Boston!
For 34 years, Steppin’ Out has been Boston’s largest multi-cultural gala and is the largest source of unrestricted, flexible funds raised for the Dimock Center’s vital programs and services. Funds are used to support the mission of The Dimock Center to heal and uplift patients and families in Roxbury, and surrounding communities. Your support will help provide patients with equitable access to health care, mental health support, early education, substance use disorder treatment, COVID-19 testing and vaccines, and food assistance.
On October 19, the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston presents Movers & Makers, an event to celebrate the artists and creative entrepreneurs who inspire us and the legal and business champions who serve the creative good. Movers & Makers features the artists and creative entrepreneurs in their fellowship programs, special guests, and those being honored for their extraordinary support of our creative economy.
Catholic Extension will present the Church Builder Award to Bishop Lynch, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of XXX as we celebrate his 25th anniversary as Bishop.
The Library of Congress will serve as the setting for the Inaugural Spirit of Francis Dinner in Washington DC to honor Sr. Carol Keehan, D.C. on May 25. The Catholic Extension Spirit of Francis Award recognizes an individual or group who has made a significant impact on the mission of the Catholic Church in America through service or philanthropy.
This is the Boston Philharmonic's flagship fundraising event, when we gather as a community in support of the next generation of musical artists. This season we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (BPYO) with a program featuring dinner and dancing alongside stellar performances by musicians from the BPYO and our education partners.
On May 12th, Big Sister Boston presents the return of a beloved Boston tradition, the Project Role Model Fashion Show at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, hosted by WBZ’s Lisa Hughes. The Catholic Extension Spirit of Francis Award recognizes an individual or group who has made a significant impact on the mission of the Catholic Church in America through service or philanthropy.
Catholic Extension, a national fundraising organization, presents the Spirit of Francis Award to His Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the Archbishop of New York.
